The first order of business on Monday was to get over to the repair shop to see about the Car Issues. I was not looking forward to this. I brought Miss Sadie and the Cowboy along for company on the walk home. Well. The problem was identified immediately and attended to promptly and at no charge. A person cannot ask for more than that.
While Matt the Mechanic set to work on the car, Miss Sadie the Cowboy and I went for a walk at Barnes Park. I thought you might like to come along.
I don’t know about you, but my equanimity is restored.

Thanks for the beautiful walk in Barnes Park, Gerry. I loved not having to hold a leash while enjoying the sights–but would have gladly traded leashlessness for actually being there. Though being here is pretty good, too.

I love the pictures where there is green and red together, either on the same tree or on the same leaf. Or contrasting with the other trees around. All very dramatic. It’s just wet here, dripping and soggy. But we’re taking Rani’s friend Rocky out with us today and we can’t let him down. Here I go.

Yup – car’s all fixed (until the next time of course). I am glad to hear that a few images of autumn in Michigan can lift a dark mood. Imagine what an actual walk in Barnes Park would accomplish. (Did wonders for Miss Sadie, the Cowboy and me.)
