The access point is at the northern tip of Torch Lake, just east of the intersection between US-31 and M-88. A small sign directs you down Eastport Landing to the parking area. This is a large, well-maintained site with a sweeping view of the lake. Amenities include a boat launch, picnic tables, pit toilets and ample parking – except in July of course.
Update 7-15-09: I was over there a couple weeks ago and didn’t see any picnic tables. Bring a blanket.
