This morning was very promising. The Bay was kicking up under reasonably sunny skies. We hurried off to take pictures of fall color, and managed to get quite a few. I will only show you two, as it’s time to go to the day job. (It is blowing and spitting rain, so I am not at all sure there will be power when I get back. These may have to hold you until tomorrow!)

We just can’t match your autumn colour. Stunning.

So glad you like it. I was afraid we weren’t going to get it this year– but there it was.

Your beautiful photos led me to look at Torch Lake photos on Google Maps. There are about ten photos showing various scenes around the lake plus a good one of the stone silo.
I believe your shot of Eden Shores T Tree belongs on Google Maps. Another good reason that your community needs a broadband network.

Hold that thought! We did put some Torch Lake Views photos on a Google Map at one point – dunno what happened to it. Just wait until tomorrow. The Big Show–Part II!

What is that alluring unpaved road in the top photo, or aren’t you telling?

That’s just a sandy gravel road in a subdivision right off US-31. We got a million of ’em, but this one is Arrowood. Arrowwood. Nuts. Can’t remember how to spell it. Update 10/14/09: That’s probably because it isn’t Arrowwood at all, but Arrowhead. Sigh.

Glorious colors! Love the top photo with the road leading to the bright red tree and stormy clouds. 🙂
