Have a lovely day, whether you’re going to the beach, grilling on the deck, reading in a hammock or working really, really hard as many people in the Township are on this busiest weekend of the year. I hope the long evening, after you get off work, is just as pretty as the morning was a couple of days ago. I’m using July 1 photos–it’s been a busy time at the Writing Studio and Bait Shop, too!

And to you! Coincidentally, I will be at the Circle myself. I look forward to hearing my favorite Steve ‘n’ Char song whose name I can never, ever remember. Fortunately, they know.

These are all very nice and peacefull photos, I realy like the ” wishing for a peacefull day” photo, the colors are so beautiful! And the wet feather, -an interesting and beautiful find.
I think most of us are more busy than usual, these summerdays. We must enjoy summer while it´s here; before we know of it, the perfect computer/blogging weather is back…
Happy 4th of july!

Thank you, Birgitte! It was a nice morning.
Everyone is busy here, but we are going to take the afternoon off and go to the 4th of July Parade! Every little town has one, but the Township is not a town and our “Main Street” is a highway, so I’m going to the parade in Central Lake.
I hope you, too, are having a most wonderful summer day.

Gerry, you are getting awfully fancy, but I did appreciate the peaceful slide show. Good slowing-down medicine after a busy day.

I do like to play with blogging toys, but mostly I like to show people the pretty views. Glad you liked the peacefulness! I know you must be Very Very Busy this weekend.

Thank you Fee! You’ll be glad to know that we no longer hang King George in effigy on the Glorious Fourth, although there does seem to be a resurgence of Tea Party sentiment.

He was a Hanoverian upstart, nay usurper, so you can hang him all you like!
Only joking!
Tea Party sentiment – count me in.

LOL! How could I forget that you would be unlikely to mind the spot of trouble we gave George?
I am deeply ambivalent with respect to Tea Party sentiments myself. I can relate to the exasperation part–it’s the howling mob part that brings me up short. Boyohboy do we ever need to stop shrilling at each other and start talking quietly together.

Nice images. I wonder if the blue angels passed over you yesterday? Have a happy 4th.

Thanks, Tammy. The Blue Angels were doing their acrobatics 34 miles south over the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City. All that flew over the Writing Studio and Bait Shop were some gulls and a quarrel of crows. The 4th has been very happy so far, and I just came home with some of Sonny’s Swedish sausages, so it can only get better. Hope you are having a good weekend too!

‘Scarves of cloud’… what a poet you are… and what a peaceful video you’ve created. There’s something about blue and white images that are so restful.
