Bruce Laidlaw pawed through hundreds of photos in his archive in order to create this moving documentary. I am honored to offer the premiere here on Torch Lake Views.
Brambles had been the king of the household, but we thought he needed company. We acquired a little fur ball who was a mix of Maine Coon and Bengal. The Bengal blood made him about 1/32 wild cat, and he turned out to be pretty wild.

Tiger looks like quite a character, to say the least. I love his extra-fluffy tail – presumably from the Maine Coon part of him?

Personally, I think he mugged a raccoon.

Tiger looks like he lives up to his name! What a character! Does he have a harness? Does he walk on a leash? How brilliant! I’ve never seen a live Maine Coon cat before, but I believe that they have very… um… *interesting* personalities! Highly entertaining!

It appears that the Tiger does, indeed, tolerate a harness and leash. Extraordinary.

Man, am I ever *envious*! I would so love to put a harness and leash on my little furry Tuffkins and to take her for a stroll outside. But we have A LOT of dogs in this neighbourhood, and I think her fur would be permanently upright, ears flattened and teeth bared in readiness for battle, if I tried that. Sigh… Tuffy is not quite as tough as her name implies. 😉

That’s quite a mix for a cat. Looks like Tiger lives up to his name. My wife would appreciate his affinity to take care of snakes of any kind.

Just so long as he doesn’t bring them in the house and expect to be praised.

What a lovely slideshow! I enjoyed The Tale of Brambles and Tiger. My mom once had a Maine Coon and this breed of cat is unique in personality. On a leash? Interesting!

Indeed, Miss Puss’s ears are pinned back in wonder and amazement.
