Beautiful too. Have you ever heard the ice move and crack on the lake? We have. We were out at a lake last winter, all by ourselves in the freezing cold. When it was supposed to have been quiet, the ice upon the lake made these strange, other-worldly sounds. We stood there in the cold, feeling quite small, and listened for the longest time.
Just my little way of commenting . . . verry quietly.

I have heard the booming of the inland lakes. I love that sound. I always think of it as the start of the spring breakup.

Are we on the same wave length or what? 🙂 Quietly tiptoeing away, Kathy
