If I am able to post this at all, it will have taken me well over half an hour to do so, and there will be no photos. For some reason my WordPress installation is malfunctioning badly. Support is looking at the situation. We shall see.

Hang in there Gerry, we’ll be waiting.
Could yo ask them where my stats have gone from my dashboard? They’ve been missing for a couple of months now!

Ah. I just went and made coffee and had a cup while I waited for the process to approve your comment to grind its way to completion. Given the enormous size of your stats (I am so envious) you can probably make soup while waiting for them to load. Mysterious are the ways of blogging. Stubborn is this blogger.

Well, THAT was a scary headline, Gerry! I was relieved to find that it was not completely true. You be stubborn, and we will be patient.

I think I’m glad the headline was scary. It is true, you know – I am stubborn but not patient, and cannot spend all day trying to get a post up. I’m not sure whether I’d lose my mind or my house first but either way I would be Outa Here. In fact, it’s time to go to the Other Day Job.

But I am not a triskadecaphobe. I believe instead that computers are malicious beings sent to destroy the earth by raising the aggravation level until it melts both polar ice caps–a much more rational position.

Gerry I had terrible problems with WordPress earlier this week, especially in dealing with comments and posting. The problems disappeared as quickly as they arrived but did make the process VERY aggravating for a couple of days.

Alas, my aggravation continues, and extends to images and tags. Slow dialup has a way of magnifying every little glitch. Ah well. I suspect the WordPress elves are busily tinkering with the platform. If we survive the process, the result will be more features to play with, and I will splash about happily. Meanwhile I am a total grump.
