Attention boaters: The boat ramp has returned

On Tuesday Miss Sadie, the Cowboy and I made a little trip to the north end of Torch Lake to report on progress at the boat launch. We got there just in time to watch the heavy equipment horsing the dock back into place.

Washing off the leaves and sand

There’s a bit of tidying up left to do, but by the end of the week the whole project will be finished. You can pull your boat out there now if you like—or put it in, for that matter, maybe you need just one more ride around the lake!  If it’s a largish boat you might want to wait. The approach is still a bit of a mess.

Update 351

The boat launch is ready to use

Update 351b

The approach still needs a little work
