Not long, but you’d be surprised how many people Around Here have actual lawns. With grass. I just thought it was pretty funny, given my propensity for letting sleeping dogs–and autumn leaves–lie.
That’s wonderfully funny. It’s the photographic equivalent of an oxymoron — or maybe just a good example of the incongruous. In any event, it made for a wonderful photo set, and a good laugh to start my morning.
😉 My guess is this letter comes from an international company based Down Under. There must be a lot of gardening being done there right now. Speechless, coffee and laugh. Thanks Gerry.
I had not thought of that! It’s a good thought. I will hold it.

Yeah. Lawn. Even after the thaw, lawn? Nothing like “targeted” marketing. How long did it take to hit the recycle bin?

Care of moss, are you a special SSI? (Site of Scientific Importance).

Just a man trying to keep a decent lawn in a cold and wet climate.

Thank you Linda. A good laugh is even better than a good cup of coffee.

With regard to helping your lawn, I would think the first step would be to determine if you have one.

Ah well, we must remember that marketers always wish to get me to spend money, too, and, well . . . don’t have any of that to speak of either.
