Katherine was out and about with her camera. Lucky us.
Have you ever seen such a wonderful place to walk with a little child? Hold that little paw in yours, climb a gentle rise to inspect the haybales, jump off a haybale giggling. Repeat until joyful.
The chicory and the Queen Anne’s Lace tickle your nose. The grass tickles your knees. The sun is warm, a little breeze flows across the meadow, it smells good. And look! The Cowboy is swimming through the sky, his glasses flying off his nose!

Lovely blue and white. May I be forgiven for thinking of my junior high school colors? Cowboy cloud–you have quite an imagination, Gerry!

Wait, wait – you can’t see him? Over there on the left, headed right? I’m pretty sure those are my arms opening on the right to catch him, too.

Queen Anne and Chicory have been my favorite wild flower combo since…forever. Just wish Chicory would last as a cut flower like Queen Anne’s Lace does. Great shot….Looks like Cowboy is chasing a squirrel, that’s upside down, and in a hole. 🙂

That would explain a lot.

Beautiful image you have painted here. The photo is good too.
Who’d imagine The Cowboy used spectacles – must be sunglasses.

Hadn’t noticed Cowboy in the clouds (when I took it) but now I see him, ears flopping about… with specs too.

I knew I could rely on you to see him, specs and all.

Yes, yes, I see you both! I haven’t played that game since I was starting out in junior school, aged 7. It’s about time I tried it again – when the grey sheet has lifted from today’s skies.

Goodness, I play that game all the time. Not just clouds, either, but rock formations, patterns in tree bark, snowdrifts. My world is full of little surprises. No wonder I never get anything done.

Looks like a wonderful place to let the children run free – of either the two- or four-legged variety. I wonder if the grass is too crunchy to allow for rolling down the hill?

I expect it would be fine for rolling. Alas, my rolling days are over–creaky vertebrae you know. Miss Sadie and the Cowboy make up for it.

How very lovely! My kind of place to wander and just be in nature. 🙂

Thank you Anna. You would enjoy wandering there. I’ll bet there’s even an old windmill somewhere on that ridge.
