From tiny star flowers to tall white pines, everything in the woods is busy making more of itself. Pollen fills the air and floats on every watery meander. The bees are decked out in it like loggers in sawdust. I am overcome with the wonder of it all or allergies, take your pick. I am going to bed early with a pile of books.

See…I learned something today (about the spruce)…and I haven’t even made it outside yet! 🙂 Thanks, and hope you’re feeling better today! On the other hand, a day in bed with books is a good day.

A day?!? That’s allowed?!?

That was a marvelous slide show, Gerry, well worth the wait for it to download. “Bewildering” almost made me dizzy–but in a good way. I doubt Miss Sadie and the Cowboy will allow you an entire day in bed.

Heck no they won’t – we’ve already been out for our morning constitutional, and they have instructed me to get out there and earn our daily kibble.
I’m glad you liked the slideshow, and I’m truly sorry it takes a long time to load. “Bewildering” was absolutely intended to create vertigo–I have a whole sequence of shots amongst the pines that, taken together in one slideshow, would probably put a person into a trance. White pines are very absorbing.

‘The bees are decked out in it like loggers in sawdust’ … wow, I’ll definitely remember that line, and probably use it in lessons, if that’s ok with you.

I love to be used in lessons. I suspect I am often a Cautionary Tale.

Your wit is welcomed as I get released for a long weekend. I never followed up but I am assuming your camera got fixed or replaced.

I’m glad you’re getting out for the weekend. If you behave yourself this time you might have an even longer playtime later in the summer.
Canon replaced the little camera without fuss or muss back in March. I was suitably impressed.

Oh, I really like the beedazzled. Neat about the spruce… learn something new every day. Going to bed early with a pile of books sounds good to me. Goodness, I yawned. LOL 🙂

I often have that effect on people. I’ve considered whether I might make a good thing from a DVD people could watch in place of taking sedatives. 😉
