Babs writes: I’m very fortunate to live right on Torch Lake and get views like this of a sunrise right out my bedroom window. So this was a few mornings ago. We have had some spectacular days recently. As you can see the lake is not completely frozen—there is open water to the south, but the southern end of the lake is frozen.
I would be jealous, but I get to see the reflections of those sunrises over the Bay . . . and the sunsets. All I have to do is be out there looking during the strategic time. Good ol’ sunshine! Welcome back!

Thank you Belinda. Good material. Plus, Babs is pretty good at this stuff.

What an amazing place to live! Fabulous photo…the promise of a blue sky day on the horizon and the little tree in the snow is like the promise of Spring to come.

Spring to come OK, but not for a couple of months yet. Little tree would do well not to bud at the first warm breeze.

Sun was so bright in Northport today that it almost blinded me. No, that’s not a complaint. And yes, the photo from Babs is lovely!

Oh excellent sunshine! Colder than all get-out of course, but bright! Shiny! My icicle is gone. That’s OK. Mama Nature can make another one.

Seeing Sun, even in cold weather, helps the spirit. The days have lengthened now so my drive how is often accompanied by a colorful sunset. Some almost rival Babs’ sunrise…almost.
