I have been mysteriously silent, eh? That is because I was imprisoned in large aircraft and bereft of internet access. However, in due course I was released on probation, whisked off to a house full of excellent treats, and stuffed like a goose. Everything is simply wonderful–did I mention the house is equipped with wireless internet service?–except that I miss the Cowboy and Miss Sadie. Also it took me way too long to figure out how to post pictures from an unfamiliar laptop, but I finally figured it out. This is the view of Mt. Olympus from the back yard of my sister’s house in Holladay, Utah. Beats the drumlins all hollow, doesn’t it? On the other hand, Michigan has the Great Lakes, so there you go.
I’ll tell you more about all this, and the Happy Hens, and Viv the dog, but not now. We have been up way too late too many days in a row and I am going to bed. Tomorrow is a busy day.

Happy Christmas Gerry; glad to hear all is well and festive. Have a splendid time, the disreputable duo, will forgive you, given time!

Enjoy your holydays in Holladay.
Your sister has a beautiful view.
In Denmark the highest ‘mountains’ are hills below 570 feet!

Oh my goodness can you imagine waking up and looking at those mountains every day?? (But, then, you’re right…we get to look at the Great Lakes.) Hope you have had a very very very Merry Christmas!

That is quite the view Gerry. Mountains can wrap around the landscape and make you feel so cozy.

Thank you everyone. I hope you, too, had wonderful times with the people you love.
Miss Sadie, the Cowboy and Miss Puss wish it to be known that they, too, had fine holidays, as Mary Sallee spoiled them rotten while I was Absent Without Leave. The presents I brought them almost made up for my devastating abandonment, and we had a nice cozy reunion last night. Back to what passes for normal life around here.

Who should have thought, years ago, that “wireless internet service” would become such an attractive word-combination…always asked by some one in the family here, before leaving the house for more than an hour,- “are there “wireless internet service”….
Nice to know that you have hade a nice trip!

Thank you, Birgitte! It was a wonderful trip.
I’m amazed myself by how important internet service has become. I wish political decision-makers in Michigan were more attuned to its value. Ah well.
