Michigan weather is full of reliable surprises. The other day I opened my email and Katherine had sent a note and one of her amazing photos. She wrote: Was down in Elk Rapids the other snowy, windy day and went by the harbor. brrrrrrrrrrr.
But that was then and this was today. The Bay sparkled, the snow sparkled, the trees sparkled. And those tracks? Those were left last night by certain miscreant dogs, running around on top of Cora’s Bluff in the snowstorm in the dark. OK, and some of the tracks were made by the large black comforter in YakTrax trailing along behind them.
Always good to be reminded we get it all.

So everything looks bright now. (yesterday)
This is a beautiful view over the lake.
I’m busy. The house needs a light makeup. The last presents are still in the shops and tomorrow we’ll receive guests for Christmas dinner.
What do I do? Check out the blogs, of course!

I suffer from Avoidance Issues, too. Which is why I am up at this ridiculous hour. It’s bitter cold, I’m completely unprepared for my trip, and here I am, online.
I hope you have a grand and glorious Christmas dinner, and that the presents fly to your house of their own accord and settle themselves next to the Nisser.

Women that procrastinate….horray! We should start a club – or maybe a support group? 🙂

Yeah, let’s do that. Wonder when we’ll get around to it . . .

The top picture could almost be the marina here in Northport. Procrastinate? Are you talkinnuhme?

What a beautiful sky! It doesn’t get much better than sparkling snow… except perhaps sparkling beach sand 🙂
I procrastinate too, which is downright crazy during the holidays when there are colds and flus waiting to be caught around every corner (and on every doorknob).

Indeed. The snow is so pretty after a snowfall and when the cold suns shines the snow to sparkles. Beautiful images!

Gerry, you sure do, I love your snow photos. The New Year to look forward to, I’m sure January will also be cold and full of winter wonderland. 🙂
