On Friday Katherine wrote: Was walking from the kitchen into the garage with my camera and the sun came out for 2 seconds this morning. By the time I went into the living roomto get another photo, it was gone.
I believe I saw that patch of sun too, Katherine – it flickered through the deck railings and then vanished. My it was pretty . . .

I don’t see many icicles here but sure saw my share of them growing up in Northern Ontario. They’re great for snowman noses when you don’t have any carrots.

Saturday’s sunlight warmed things up. It was eerie, after all the cold wind, to walk the dogs near midnight in a balmy 33 degrees. It’s a good thing we didn’t use icicles for any snowman noses. They would’ve been running.
