Babs just had the best time last weekend. She wrote:
This seems to be my month to sail. There were 5 or 6 tall ships in Traverse City this weekend for the first Michigan Schooner Festival, so for about $45.00 anyone was able to ride on one these for about two hours. I went out on the S/V Denis Sullivan. She is 137 feet long with three masts and 10 sails. As you can see it was a perfect day for this. You can see more photos from this trip on Flickr.
Every week photographer Babs Young captures moments in northern Michigan, and every week she sends one to Torch Lake Views just for you. You can find more of her photos at the Babs Young Photo Archives.

“All I ask is a tall ship
and a star to steer her by”
I feel the ship’s deck move in this photo.
