Love your signs, Gerry! Yep, we can tell you’re up north. My favorite is…nope…can’t decide. They’re all great.

Gerry, thanks for taking me back to the 40s & 50s in Northern Wisconsin.

You are welcome. Thank you for bringing me to live in Northern Wisconsin. I guess I am going to have to do some more glamor posts about northern Michigan so that people do not think we are stuck in a time warp. Tomorrow, for example, I am going to a sophisticated Art Gallery to sip wine with Sophisticated People and comment on Cutting Edge Art.

Do old fishermen really move that slowly?
The last notable sign I saw in these parts was a large one in front of one of our beauty salons:
“Eyebrows. There should be 2.”
It had me laughing all the way home.

All fishermen move slowly on their way home in order to mull over the fishing experience and devise the lies they will tell their friends about the fierce muskies they released.
I love the Eyebrow Sign.
