Making the best of Mud Season

Not one to be discouraged by a little dismal weather, Katherine has been out and about examining the shoreline of Torch Lake. She writes:  This is the ice on the shore along Torch that melted and started to reform and it looked like dancing people or hands waving and gesturing, or fanciful animals, or muppets, or well you get the idea. They just looked very interesting.

And so they do.  This is my favorite.  I can see a forest nymph wearing a laurel crown, a dancing pine tree, and a couple of deer looking on in amazement.

OK, clearly cabin fever has set in. Time to Take Measures. If it isn’t too late, I’m going to go to Sonny’s for breakfast.
