Always on the cutting edge of art and culture, Babs Young explores Barbie’s thoughts on turning 50.
She followed the icon to the Charlevoix harbor, where she captured this reflective moment. Is Barbie on the lam? Has she wearied of her longtime romance with a younger man? Is she yearning for security or for new adventures? Is she really, really sick of tottering along on tip-toe?
I have no idea whether these will meet Scott Thomas’s guidelines for his Assignment #2 – Storytelling show, but I think he’ll like them anyway, so I’m sending him a link.

Oh, no…I just turned 50, too. 🙂
Oh, except I don’t think this photo was taken in the last couple of weeks (unless Barbie is on vacation from Torch Lake), the second photo meets the guidelines.

Um, I believe that I may have mentioned that Babs is not one for following the rules. But she does do some interesting stuff, doesn’t she!
As for 50 – welcome to the grownups table. Heh heh.
[And now I managed to make this a “reply” Scott!]
