Katherine sent a newsy note today (I can relate to the dogwalking dilemma): I’m sitting here with a cat on my lap who periodically gets up and wanders over and stands on my keyboard but still hasn’t warmed up to the dog. I know, give it time. The dog wants to make friends with the cat but all she gets in reply are hisses and howls. Here is my minimalist photo for the week. I’ve been out walking dogs but not with my camera until the dog gets used to the leash and doesn’t take off out of the doorway like a shot.

My Trixie is five and Pyewacket is turning two – and this still goes on. Cats are so like people, each one has a totally different personality type.
Oh, and the cat is maybe jealous of the dog and the love it gets. That is why Trixie does it, she’s very jealous of the others. She loves me so much and wants me all to herself.
