Babs writes: Finally the ice parted at the north end of Torch Lake this week and the bottom was revealed through the clear cool water. The water looks pristine and ready for a good summer.

Nice to see that spring finaly have arrived, to reveal what was hidden by the snow. I am waiting in suspense to see the photos.

Don’t get too excited, Birgitte. We could have more snow this week. But the ice is off Torch Lake and the Bay, and it won’t come back.
