What a wonderful, wacka-wacka column Sally Ketchum wrote for today’s Record-Eagle. I recommend you read Jefferson and spring, E.E. and me. It will cheer you up no end.
I was grousing to Miss Sadie and the Cowboy about the gray morning we’re having up here, but Sally has energized me. I’m going to make lentil soup with sausages from Sonny’s. I’m going to go sniff potting soil at Pine Hill. I’m going to show you a picture of Lori Williams on her way to an Eighties Party last weekend. (You know Lori. All that red hair is normally tucked under a visor while she tends to the Breakfast Club at Sonny’s.) Spring fever!

Great minds, Gerry! I bought a bag of lentils yesterday and a bunch of kale, too. The forecast is for sunshine for the rest of the week, but greens and beans are always good.
(Love those crocuses and peeps, too.)
