Frugal bugle: Parading around in pajamas can save lots

I can’t imagine how I could have forgotten to tell you this until now, and I apologize.  If you get up early tomorrow morning (that would be Wednesday, December 31) you can hop directly in your car and head to Elk Rapids, without even changing out of your pajamas.  The merchants of River Street will welcome your pajama-clad self with very big discounts at 7:00 a.m., slightly smaller discounts at 8:00 and so on, until about noon, when they’ll switch to regular post-Christmas discounts for the rest of the day.  Java Jones will have coffee – if memory serves, it’s free at 7:00 to the pajama’d. 

Wouldn’t be seen in public in your Dr. Dentons for anything in the world?  That’s OK, you can come to the sale anyway.  You can laugh at the rest of us, and settle for smaller discounts.  We, the pajama’d, will laugh all the way to the bank.
