I’m headed to the Planning Commission meeting in a few minutes, but I thought I’d let you know that there’s likely to be a meteor shower to look at tonight from about 9:00-11:00 pm. You can read all about it in this NASA post. Sooo . . . later tonight you’ll either hear about meteors or planning issues or the post I’ve been working on off and on all day and still haven’t finished.
Later.
(Katherine, do we still say “Later”?)

Meteors tonight, and already I’m sure I”ll sleep through them. The after-sunset sky this very moment, however, is quite lovely, as was the entire evening, particularly since David and I were free from all obligations for a couple of hours of mini-vacation.
