Babs Young writes, This is from the Farmer’s Market in Traverse City on Saturday. They have one of these each Saturday morning in the summer. Well worth a trip. To see some of the photos that I took please visit my Flickr site. These were taken as part of the World Wide Photowalk 2009. We had over 9000 photographers from over 900 cities all taking photos on Saturday July 18.

9000 photographers all in one spot! I wonder if all those flashes going off cast a glow that could be seen from outer space.

They weren’t all in one spot. They spread out across the world. In each community involved someone led a walk that highlighted interesting places to shoot. It sounds like a lot of fun, doesn’t it? Imagine a U.P. photowalk led by Kathy, or a photowalk in the Peaks District led by Mrs. Uhdd, or a Danish photowalk led by Birgitte . . . or a Salt Marsh photowalk led by you!
