East side, west side, all around the lakes

Babs has been over on the east side of Torch Lake again, hanging out at the Dockside, getting up to who knows what.  One of these days she’ll probably call us to bail her out.  In the meantime, she’s captured the Clam River on a sunny day.  She writes: The sun has been shining and the snow is beginning to melt. I hope I have not spoken too soon. We could get more. This was taken this afternoon of the Clam River near Dockside.

Spring thaw on the Clam River

I hope she hasn’t jinxed us with that remark. It would be just like Mama Natuire to pitch a hissy later on this week, just to remind us who’s boss. On the other hand, it feels like the right time to evict the spiders from the kayak.
