Babs writes: We are still being blessed with winter and lots of cold. The sun has been shining, but the temps are low, it’s down around 5º tonight. But with the bitter cold comes clear light and an exhilaration I never feel in summer. (I can hear Jack Bodis grousing all the way here. “More pictures of snow! Enough with the snow!”) But Jack, it’s beautiful out there . . .
Every week photographer Babs Young captures moments in northern Michigan, and every week she sends one—and sometimes more than one!—to Torch Lake Views just for you. You can find more of her photos by following the Babs Young Photos link in the Categories list over in the right column, or by going to her Michigan Pictures Archives: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Yeah, well, it’s easy to say “thanks for all the snow and ice” when you’re in Naples . . . Hi, Connie! Hope you and Dick are having a wonderful time, getting all rested up so you’ll be ready to tackle Life Up North with renewed zest. Ahem. The Wilkinson tax return is due May 15. Heh heh.
