Letters from Katherine: Beach sculpture

Katherine writes: One of the things I like about winter is the ability to take black and white photos in color and the absence of color in the landscape. That’s why I love seeing cardinals at the birdfeeder. It reminds me there is such a thing as color outside! These are the beach chairs we usually recline upon while sunbathing . . . but when there is sun in the winter (what is that bright thing in the sky?) I surely don’t feel like reclining in these. Brrrrrrrrrr.
