On Saturday, February 23, at 9:00 a.m. folks with business interests ranging from farming to retail to home-based enterprises will gather for coffee at the Torch Lake Township Hall. They’ll continue a conversation begun in January (see In Business: A view to growth) about ways to enhance the business climate in the township. Members of the Planning Commission have agreed to be there to listen. It’s an informal meeting and open to the public. If there’s enough interest, one result is likely to be the formation of a business association.
